As these scanning requirements are generally not as prolific as many of the other microforms such as direct paper scanning, it therefore follows that the specialist scanning equipment required for this scanning process is relatively expensive to purchase.

Our solution uses complex software that it is generally not viable for the majority of companies to purchase their own and train staff to handle a back file conversion project. It therefore makes sense to entrust the scanning of microfiche to a suitably qualified and experienced service bureau.
