FoI is Changing - Are you ready?
The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has issued the new Model
Publication Scheme information...
The deadline for compliance with the new scheme is 1
January 2009 for all Public Sector organisations.
The Model Publication Scheme is intended to reduce the number of Freedom of
Information requests submitted for standard items of information. It is
hoped that the scheme will promote more
general information being published to the authority web site thus
removing the need for the public to submit FoI Requests. |
