Peter will spearhead Housing Support Pro, a newly launched subsidiary of Footprint Solutions
Mobile working solutions provider Footprint Solutions has appointed Peter Fitzhenry as CEO of its subsidiary Housing Support Pro. The company has been created as a separate entity as a result of the success of its namesake product, which continues to deliver time and cost efficiencies for housing associations.
Peter has over 20 years’ executive experience across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, having worked for Liverpool City Council, Sheffield City Council, Liberate Plc, Kendric Ash. Peter was previously the managing director of Golden Gates Housing Trust (GGHT), part of the Torus Group. GGHT is Warrington’s main provider of social housing, becoming a housing association in 2010 following six successful years as an arm’s-length management organisation (ALMO.)
He is a regular on the housing conference circuit, presenting on a diverse range of themes including: welfare reform, universal credit, technology, performance improvement and renewable technology.
More recently Peter has worked with the National Housing Federation to try and improve how universal credit works for housing associations and their tenants.
Fitzhenry said: “In the words of Victor Kiam, I was so impressed with the company that I bought into it. At GGHT, I led the company’s highly successful ICT service for 11 years and during this time I started working with Footprint and familiarising myself with Housing Support Pro. What really stood out for me was its quality, adaptability and the speed of implementation.
“It’s a time when housing organisations need to innovate to respond to the challenge of delivering core services with fewer resources. The solutions available from Housing Support Pro can add value to any business that is serious about reducing costs while improving performance and productivity.
“Client Connect and Works Connect remove the “Silo Service” barriers normally associated with field-based working and encourage service delivery in both Neighbourhood Services and Estate Management.”
John Sant, MD of Footprint Solutions said: “We’re all very excited to welcome Peter to the team and his confidence to do so serves as a testament to the impression that Housing Support Pro made on him during his time at GGHT. His wealth of experience will inform product development and ensure we continue to deliver a high standard of service to new and existing customers.
“We will be making further staff announcements at this years’ CIH Exhibition in June but it’s safe to say that our other staff hires from the housing sector will ensure Housing Support Pro remains at the forefront of innovation.”
